Oliver Mills 6-a-side tournament in order to help raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust

Description
An annual event held every August Bank Holiday at Hatfield Hyde Cricket Club. The successful event is a fixture in the social diary of many members of the community not only to raise club funds but to also raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. All funds raised for TCT will help towards the funding of specialist units and services provided by Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK.

The day is in memory for one of our former members, Oli Mills, who passed away in 2005, aged 18. The event is being co-arranged by his brother and club captain Eddie Mills who has done a great deal over the last 6 years to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Over £4,000 has been raised so far.
The event sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric, will include 9 teams battling it out for the Oli-Mills 6-a-side trophy, Hog Roast, Drinks, Face Painting, Bouncy Castle, Cake Stalls, Fun Activities, Raffle and much more! In the evening an auction will be held followed by evening entertainment.

How you can support our day and take part
With the potential for such local exposure this is not only a great opportunity to do your bit for charity but also to raise the profile of your business. Whether it is offering some form of sponsorship for the day to help cover the costs of some of the expenses associated with running the event or perhaps donating a prize towards our raffle or auction. Any donation small or large will be welcomed and greatly appreciated. We will ensure that as a company you will be publicised during the event for supporting two worthwhile causes. This event will not only ensure the future existence of Hatfield Hyde Cricket Club but will also enable us to not only contribute to a great cause in the TCT but also make a statement to other clubs around that it is possible for local sports clubs to help do their bit for worthy causes. With the help of local businesses we can provide an excellent day for the community.
